The risks of disappointment that come with Medicare Advantage plans are very high. If misfortune (in the form of ill health) strikes, all of a sudden better options become limited or evaporate altogether.
Every human crosses a line and becomes uninsurable during life; possibly only in the last minutes before death, or perhaps years earlier. When this happens it is best to be protected by a good Medicare Supplement plan in addition to original Medicare.
