Client Mike writes to ask me to find his wife a Plan G Medicare supplement with a better price. Her current Aetna plan has scheduled a $60+ monthly rate increase so Mike asked me to look for a better deal.
Once again I explained the advantages of High Deductible Plan G (HDG) but Mrs. Mike is very risk averse and wants to stay with regular (expensive) Plan G.
A few weeks after, Mike contacted me again to announce that he plans to switch to HDG when his state mandated Birthday Rule period came around.

MEDICARE ADVANTAGE MINUTE! THE NINE BIGGEST DISADVANTAGES TO MEDICARE ADVANTAGE!
I want to do a good job for my clients. Some companies make that easier than others. One of them is an absolute standout, in spite of not always maintaining rate stability with Plan G premium increases.
An insurance broker in Atlanta is worried about my diminished income. Agents make smaller sales commissions when they sell low-cost products like HDG.
