Insurance companies must remain profitable so your rates will increase as time passes no matter what rating methodology they use.
This ignores, of course, the community rating travesty that is forced upon insurance companies in some states.

What is the total amount you could pay out-of-pocket each year if you need extensive medical treatment while you have a Medicare Advantage plan? Probably a lot!!
