Thanks to Steve, I learned how anal retentive accountants want to measure the benefits of High Deductible Medicare Supplement plans. They missed the mark by a wide margin as I explain, starting at minute 5:30.

Now, the Part B application process can be handled online for those who are past age 65 and leaving active employment.
The Part B application (CMS-40B) can be submitted in accordance with the online instructions. Proof of creditable coverage (CMS-L564) does not have to be signed by a company official but mist be accompanied by a document proving that coverage was in place within the last 63 days.
